The Club sent children from their under 7s team all the way up to their under 11s, both the under 11s side and under 10s side played alongside Boorowa.

Harden sent an under 14s league tag side over to Gundagai on Sunday that played with their teammates from Boorowa. President of HMJRL Chris Beal was happy with how they children went.

“They weren’t keeping scores or anything like that, it was more to get the kids back into the swing of things and have a bit of fun in the preseason, they all performed really well and had a great time,” Beal said.

“The girl’s the next day enjoyed themselves, they got to play three games as well and got better and better in each game and will continue to get better throughout the season.

“The season will kick-off in three weeks time on the 22nd, we will play our first home game at Boorowa against Cootamundra.
