Marilyn Wales has moved on from the Harden Hospital after 27 years serving our community as a Clinical Nurse Educator providing training at Harden MPS.
Marilyn moved to Harden when she was eight after her father took a job working on Weirview, she then moved to Temora when she was 13 where she finished her schooling and became an enrolled nurse.
She was an enrolled Nurse from 1970 – 1974 before becoming a registered nurse in Temora, Marilyn then did 11 more years in Temora up until 1985 where she moved to Narrandera and remained a registered nurse in Narrandera from 1985 – 1995.
Marilyn moved back to Harden in 1995 and transitioned into her role as Clinical Nurse Educator, a role she held up until her departure this year.
Marilyn will still be amongst the Harden community in her new position at the new Harden Grange Aged Care Facility. She says she is grateful for her time at the Harden Hospital.
