Charlie Brown about to take on the Boorowa defence at Boorowa. The Devils along with Coota, Young and Boorowa are all relatively close to each other based

on the last 2 years of competition. It will take something special for Harden to go one better and make a GF and win it in 2023.

The Harden Red Devils hosted their Annual General Meeting on November 16 where the following roles were established.

President: Charlie Brown
Vice President: Jim Honner

Secretary: Pierce Martin

Treasurer: Maddie Douglass

Committee Members: Jack Alcorn, Angus Campbell, Cailin Ebbott, Georgia Murray, Kace Brooks.

Charlie Brown who co-coached the Devils last year alongside Jack Alcorn steps up into the President’s role this year.

Charlie has been a dedicated member of the Red Devils for a number of years now as well as playing representative Rugby. He possesses knowledge well beyond his years.

Charlie is excited for a new challenge in the President’s role.

He said, “Ben Lenehan has done a great job over the past few seasons, now he is retiring so I thought I’d step up and take his place.”

“Hopefully I can inject some new ideas into the team and continue to build on the great work they’ve done.

“We’ve got a few coaches in the pipeline for the job next year but nothing official as of yet. We’ve had a few enquiries though which has been good.”

The team plans on getting back onto the field for training early in the new year and Charlie encourages anyone with interest in playing to con- tact the Red Devils Facebook page because “the more the merrier” as Charlie puts it.

The Red Devils had a great season last year, hopefully this year they can go one step further and bring the South Wests Fuels Cup back to Harden.
