The Harden Red Devils presentation was held at Barnes Store Emporium and Cafe on Friday September 2nd.

The first lot of awards were the She Devils, who had a highly successful season as they took out the premiership in their 21-5 victory over the Young Yabbies.

The most improved award went to Coralie Vasque, the best back went to Georgia Murray, best forward went to Abby Perry, players player went to Anna Slavin and Maddie Douglass received the best and fairest award.

Along with her best and fairest award, Maddie Douglass received the player of the match award in the grand final and the highest points scorer for the whole competition.

Helping her to the title of top points scorer was the fact that she scored in every game she played, and had a season kicking percentage of 73.5 percent across 49 attempts.

The Devils had an underwhelming end to their season as they came in third and lost in an elimination final against the fourth-place Borrowa Goldies. Although disappointing the Devils showed great promise and are sure to compete for the top spot next year in the South West Fuels Cup.

The most improved award went to Ethan Richens, the best back award went to Ben Lenehan, The best forward went to Jack Alcorn, the players player award went to Jack Rudd and the best and fairest award went to Tom Lenehan.

The Mick honner Memorial award went to Charlie Brown, which the Devils club said, “Charlie has been a standout player for several years now and always gives 100% on the field. He has had another great season with the devils and also representing the Central West Bulls. Always willing to help out off the field which doesn’t go unnoticed.

A deserved winner for 2022.” All reports say it was a massively successful night for the Harden Red Devils with all the players, coaches and sponsors enjoying their night.
