Georgia Murray makes a break from inside her own 22 against Boorowa.

The Harden Red She Devils are the 2022 South West minor premiers and will line up against the Young Yabbettes this Saturday in round 1 of the Semi Finals.

Co Coach Harry Sachs is looking forward to the game.

“We have a pretty good group of 15 girls, it’s 10s with five reserves.

Simon Glover and I have enjoyed coaching them. We have only lost one match and we were down on troops. The next time we played them we beat them 53 nil.

They are great to watch.

They have come from winning just one game last year to only losing one game this year.”

Sachs said there’s a number of players who have been playing together for a few years now and that some of the girls have been there since day dot.

Including Kace Brooks. “A couple of other girls have been around for a few years now.

Anna Slavin, Mel Peisley, Maddie Douglass and Willow.

They are all starting to work out the game of Rugby.”

Sachs is proud of how the girls have all grasped the game and now share the scoring sheet instead of just relying on a couple of players.

“Maddie used to score a lot of tries but it’s now forwards and everyone else scoring and working as a team.”

“The beauty about some of the girls is they have never played and they want to learn, they listen. When you get blokes who have been playing for 15 years it can be a bit harder.”

It’s been five years from when the girls entered the comp and they didn’t score a try in 2017 to minor premiers.

“They know what to do, we won’t get too stressed.

I wan’t them to win. I don’t want them to be playing next week for a spot, we need to get it done on Saturday.”

The game commences at 1:00pm at Robert’s Park.
