On Monday, Harden Licensed Post Office said goodbye to a cherished member of the team, Liz Prosser.
She was a hard-working and beloved worker at the Post Office as well as a valued member of the Harden community.
The Post Office said, “How will I ever thank you for all you have done for our community, you worked on Mondays but every day you called in and sorted us out.”
“If there was a letter that we couldn’t find at home, you found it, if we had a problem, you fixed it, you have been an absolute rock to me and all the retail staff and kept us all on track, you definitely dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s and we were very grateful for all your knowledge and experiences.” Liz had worked at and contributed to the shop for thirty years since she left school.
She knows every in and out about the shop and the Harden community. The owner of the Post Office, Kim Dawes, cannot stress enough that Liz was an “amazing” addition to the store.
“She’d come in daily to check to see whether I needed anything or if I had trouble with anything she would come in and help me out,” she said.
“I want to thank her very much for helping me out for the last four years, it’s been an absolute joy working with her and couldn’t have done it without her.”
