Harden is becoming a host to many stars recently to much of the locals delight with one of the most recent additions to the list of big names performing at the Country Club auditorium being Kate Ceberano, last Saturday.

Kate is a well-known Australian artist who has an impressive 28 album discography over her 35 years in the business and has won three ARIA awards and seven different best female artist nominations.

Chris Longbottom, the General Manager of the Harden Country Club was more than excited to host the ASA Hall of Famer, “It was a fantastic evening.

She was just wonderful.

I’m extremely proud of our team for what we did on Saturday night but also extremely proud that we’ve managed to attract a star such as Kate Ceberano to our doors.”

“She’s expressed an interest to come back which is extremely nice of her as well. We’ll see what we can do.” Kate Ceberano rose to fame when she fronted pop-funk band ‘I’m Talking’ and wowed audiences with their lush vocals and groovy basslines.

Their debut album went platinum and earned its place among Australian music history, beginning a platinum career for the vocalist. Kate would solidify her place in music history after standing alongside Countdowns Most Popular Male Artist Michael Hutchence of INXS winning Most Popular Female Artist. Kate is now a legend in Australian music having top ten albums on the ARIA charts across all decades starting from the 80’s.

The Harden Country Club is becoming a stop for many great Australian artists with Keven ‘Bloody’ Wilson performing on June 3rd for the Country Club’s first ever “R-Rated” event. “Tickets are selling quite well for that. I’m expecting to be sold out like we were for Kate. We haven’t tried that type of event before but everyone seems to be supportive. The social media feedback is really positive and all the members seem to be getting on board by buying tickets.”

“I couldn’t be prouder of our staff for the evening we had Kate Ceberano.

I really couldn’t. For a little town such as ours to be able to pull off what we did and to serve 390 meals that night is massive. The kitchen staff did a wonderful job. The service staff did a wonderful job and I couldn’t have asked for any more.

The club will also be hosting the legendary Aussie rock band Dragon soon to much of the club’s excitement. Harden will definitely not be without solid entertainment if the coming months are anything to go by.
