Today New South Wales recorded 1,431 cases of COVID-19 along with 12 deaths including a woman in her 30’s who was unvaccinated.

Western New South Wales saw 53 case including 31 Dubbo, 11 in Bourke, Bathurst 6, Walgett 2 and Narromine 1.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said cases are going to increase before they peak and believes the next fortnight is going to be our worst.

“As I have said previously, the best health advice I have is that we anticipate a peak in cases in the next fortnight.”

“It is not the number of cases we need to be focusing on but how many of those cases and up in our intensive care wards.”

There are no active cases of COVID-19 in the Hilltops Council or Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council.
