A person who has tested positive to COVID-19 stayed in Murrumburrah-Harden for one night on 3-4 September while potentially infectious.

The person is an essential worker who undergoes regular routine testing. They are now isolating outside of the MLHD.

All close and casual contacts at the accommodation venue, The Light Horse Hotel, have been identified and notified.

Contact tracing has identified two additional venues in Murrumburrah-Harden visited by the person.

Anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a casual contact who must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Please continue to monitor for symptoms and immediately get tested and isolate if they develop:

SMS messages will be sent to people who were at the venues at these times and checked in with a QR code.

We thank the venues for their cooperation. They all had COVID-19 business safety plans in place which has helped to minimise the risk to customers and staff.

MLHD is also asking anyone in Murrumburrah – Harden, or who has been in Murrumburrah – Harden recently, to get tested if they have even the mildest of symptoms, and isolate until they receive a negative result.

Other symptoms include fatigue, acute blocked nose (congestion), muscle pain, joint pain, headache, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, unexplained chest pain and conjunctivitis.
