The Harden CWA have been busy putting together dignity bags to donate to Mission Australia.

The Harden Branch of the Country Women’s Association wanted to do something to help the homeless and less privileged.

The CWA thought that putting together the dignity bags would be a great way to do this.

The CWA members would like to thank member Lyn Gardiner, better known as Darky, who made all of the bags whilst the rest of the CWA members helped fill them.

These dignity bags will cater to both men and women and contain products such as toothpaste, soap and deodorant as well as face washers and tissues in all bags.

There will also be specific products for women and men.

The women’s bag will have sanitary items and the men’s bag will include shaving cream.

Each bag will also contain a beanie to keep the recipient warm during the winter months.

The women of the Harden CWA said the best part about putting the bags together is knowing that you are going to help someone.

The CWA Harden branch will be continuing to make dignity bags and are calling for donations of items to put in the bags.

Current bags have been filled with items donated by the CWA members.

Anyone wishing to donate products are asked drop their products to the Harden Branch of the CWA at 116 Neill Street.
