It appears that Australia’s second largest mobile phone carrier, Optus, is continuing to deliver disrupted services without advising its customer base. The latter part of 2020 including November and December saw poor or non existent coverage in the Harden Murrumburrah area and surrounds. The coverage caused businesses to suffer alongside regular residents of the area, who couldn’t receive calls or make calls using their mobile phones.

This ‘patchy’ and non existent coverage began again early last week and has continued this week.

Customers have reported that they have received the following message when making contact online. And nothing has been done to alleviate the coverage issues.

Another customer provided a screenshot detailing a recent Optus promotion where they are hoping to entice loyal customers to switch to their Optus internet everyday plan, touted as ‘Experience a reliable connection’
