In response to the Federal Government’s three-step framework for a COVID safe Australia, Council is pleased to announce that sports training may resume from 1 June 2020.

It is required that all training be conducted in accordance with the Public Health Order available on the NSW Government website.
No competition matches are permitted to be played (including ‘friendly’ matches as part of a training session).

Personal training in groups of ten or less, including the trainer, will also be permitted. Strict hygiene practices must be adhered to including no sharing of equipment.

All Skateparks are now open to the public. It is important that there are no more than ten people in any park at any one time.

All public toilets across the region will be open from tomorrow, Tuesday 26 May 2020. Please help protect yourself and others by maintaining strict hygiene practices and appropriate social distancing.

“We thank sporting groups and the wider community for their patience during the time they have been unable to utilise our facilities. I encourage everyone including coaches and personal trainers to familiarise themselves with current guidelines and ensure they are being met at all times,” said Hilltops Council General Manager Anthony O’Reilly.
