The Jugiong Public School relay team were going to complete at the state swimming carnival in April after coming second in Albury. This would be the 3rd year in a row a team from the school has made it, this year they did so with 2 new swimmers. The team consists of just 2 family’s which is quite special.
Individually Sam swam 52.59 in 50m Breaststroke at Albury in March to qualify for state. Sam’s mum Nicole said, “Sam was stoked to get a first in Albury, he was beside himself. He is extremely disappointed that the State level has been cancelled.”
