The triumphant Scott Fuller side of 2014 who won the shield for Harden for the first time in 21 years. They are pictured in the clubhouse which is set to be demolished to make way for a new club house pending approval from Hilltops Council after a public consultation process.
A development application for the Harden Country Club has been lodged which includes,
- Demolition of the existing Harden Country Club and squash courts
- Erection of a new clubhouse
- Establishment of an adjacent ‘green’ area; and
- Development of associated access and parking areas and works.
According to Council, “The new clubhouse as proposed is designed to support a wide range of events and functions and includes a porte cochere and lift for ease of access. To accommodate the proposal, changes to the current golf course are necessary including adjustments to teeing grounds 1 and 10 and the relocation of green 9.”
Public exhibition of the second Development Application will occur from 5 May 2020 to 20 May 2020 during which time any member of the public may review the proposal and make a submission to Council for consideration. During the notification period, the application, supporting plans and documentation can be viewed on Council’s website:
