The Harden Hawks will be playing the first 6 rounds of the George Tooke Shield Competition away in their centenary year, with the new amenities and grandstand area set to be completed at the end of May.
The Hawks first home match will be against the North Canberra Bears in round 7.
The completion date for the new building was set last year with the Hawks hoping for some assistance from the competition in changing the schedule for Tooke Footy in 2020. Crookwell were able to undertake a different schedule while their new building was under construction.
Binalong and Boorowa are both away for their fist matches. The Rovers will be home to Gunning in round 2 while the Brahmans will host the Hawks in round 2.
The Hawks will enjoy rounds 7, 8 and 9 at home before travelling away to Boomanulla in round 10 on July 4. Rounds 11 and 12 will see the Hawks home again before they take on the Bears at Jamison Oval in round 13 on August 1.
Rounds 14 and 15 will see the Hawks
finish the season with 2 home matches at McLean Oval, to round off the 15 game
competition. With 10 sides in George Tooke in 2020 and 15 rounds, it’s going to be a big year for the Maroon and Whites who will be entering 4 sides. U17s, Ladies tackle, Ladies League Tag and First Grade.
