The Yass District Cricket Association C Grade competition has witnessed some good performances from both of the Harden sides in the 2019/2020 season.
The Harden Bowlo enjoyed a bye on Saturday for round 4 while the Harden Hornets took to Tim Doolan Oval to do battle with the Yass Clubhouse Horns.
Jeff Brown starred for the Hornets and took 5 for 32 off his 8 overs whist his batting alongside Paul Potts was the mainstay of the Hornets Innings. Harden won by 20 runs with Nathan Anderson finishing with 3 for 9 off 8 overs.
The Hornets will have the week off with the bye while the Bowlo Mudcrabs head to O’Connor Park to take on the Yass Taipans.
The ladder has the Mudcrabs in 2nd place on 27 points, just ahead of the Hornets on differential, also on 27 points. The Binlaong Bushrangers sit atop the ladder on 32 while the Taipans are in 4th place on 19.
Binalong looks to have plenty of depth and at this stage would be the favourites having lost only 9 wickets across 3 matches and a bye.
The Harden sides will do battle at Tim Doolan on December 14 while the A and B grade sides take part in a 20/20 day at Yass.
This match was moved to this date to accomodate the attendance of many of the Harden players at the Harden Picnic races on Oct 26.
