The burnt area overlooking the township of Harden.
A small grass fire was quickly extinguished around 3:30 pm on Thursday after Harden Fire and Rescue attended the scene on Jellambi Road, North-West of Harden. A road grader and personal tankers assisted in quickly extinguishing the small blaze which started next to the road side and went on to burn a patch of grass approximately 15 metres wide by 100 metres long.
The cause of the blaze is currently unknown. Residents are reminded to remain vigilant and report fires to 000.
