Locals took out the majority of the prizes which were thick and fast due to the great level of sponsorship and support.
Tim Davis, Peter’s son said, “Can Assist were good when dad was crook with cancer and not just dad, but they help out people financially and support wise. We just wanted to give back to them to say thanks and hopefully help others in the same position. It is probably the second biggest golfing day they have outside of the Australian 2 man Ambrose. They raised $1930 and Can Assist ran the barbecue so hopefully over $2000.”
Jackie Solah.
Next year marks there 20th year the Memorial Day has been running for Peter who was a former President of the Club.
Peter Elliott and Ron Fuller.
Tim said, “The last 2 years we were given 4 member’s tickets to from the ATC and this year 6 and we made them a lucky door prize so that way you don’t have to be a good golfer to win it.”
Tony ‘Ozzy Osborne.
