The Rev Neil Percival OAM will be guest speaker at the next Men’s Breakfast set down for Saturday, 9th November in the Uniting Church Hall (air-conditioned), Binalong Street, Harden, 8.00-10.00 am.
Neil has been in full-time Christian ministry for 26 years. He became the Rector of Young District Anglican Ministry in June 2018. Before that he ministered at Berry, on the South Coast, and Beacon Hill, on Sydney’s northern beaches.
He has been a volunteer fire fighter with the NSW Rural Fire Service for 39 years in a range of roles and a member of the RFS Chaplaincy team for nearly 20 years. He is currently a member of Boara Brigade and the Chaplain for the South West Slopes Zone. He is a life-long learner and in recent years has been completing a PhD at the University of Newcastle exploring the effects of exposure to trauma on emergency services workers. Neil will speak on some of the major influences in his life and the joys and challenges of his present ministry.
Cost is $15 for a full cooked breakfast, and payable at the door.
