Demondrille Merino Stud held their annual on farm Ram Sale on Tuesday with 120 Rams up for auction. 113 Rams sold on the day. The average price of the sale was $1,983.49 With the Top Selling Ram purchased by Tim and Jodie Barry of Clunes Victoria for $5,250. Tim and Jodie Barry have been attending the Demondrille Ram Sale for the past 10 years, Tim said “Demondrille Merino Stud Rams have well nourished Wool and prove to be productive.” The 7 Hour drive for Tim and Jodie is worth it every year taking home 2 Rams from this year’s sale for their hobby breeding of Rams. Andrew Davis said “We were a little low on numbers attending this year due to many factors, but we still had a good day.” Auctioneer of Landmark, Rick Power had the privilege of selling for the Davis Family, Rick said “The Davis family have a strong support network but buyer’s this year were selective on types.”
