NSW Ambulance says it is treating almost 30 patients at the scene of a bus crash near Harden…..A 65-year-old woman is in a critical condition after sustaining a serious head injury and a 14-year-old boy is being treated for limb fractures.

Traffic is being directed by local Council staff and the road remains open.

Another 26 patients sustained minor injuries and the bus was carrying both adults and children.

The bus ran off Burley Griffin Way on Demondrille Creek Bridge around 8.30am.

Toll helicopters are on site at Demondrille and at McLean Oval while Fire NSW, Police and Ambulance attend the scene. An onsite triage tent was set up to deal with the large number of patients.

The road is still open but has been reduced to one lane and motorists are advised to exercise caution.
