The ladies of the Harden Murrumburrah Hospital Auxiliary and the Freemasons presented a state of the art new Floorline bed at a cost of $3,700 to be used in the district hospital.

Auxiliary President Robyn Apps said, “It is always important to inform local residents just how we spend the money we raise through street stalls and catering for funerals.”

Robyn and Lynn Fitzpatrick are pictured with the staff who are fortunate to be able to make use of this bed which has dual controls and 5 different positions including being able to be lowered to the floor if necessary. Spokesperson for the hospital Kerry Menz said that they were hoping to take delivery of two more similar beds in the near future, to be used by the community when they have a hospital stay.

It is hoped that the new building will be supplied with these much more efficient and certainly more comfortable beds upon its completion.
