Jess Head has recently commenced her own business where she will be providing personal care and domestic assistance, including house duties and social support for potential clients in the Harden Murrumburrah area and surrounds.
Jess is excited at the prospect of being able to assist people in the community who require her help. She can take clients down the street, to events and increase social participation as well as activities in garden maintenance and cooking skills. Jess has been working with LFE for the last 2 years.
She said, “I enjoy what I do and I decided to make myself available to help people with their NDIS plans.” Jess said, “I love the fact that you come to work and they are smiling and happy, when you can help them with something new in their life.”
Jess is 22 and recently became engaged to John Southwell, she lives in Harden but can travel to Coota, Young, Boorowa and Yass to assist clients. Jess is well aware that the community is becoming aged and that an increasing number of people are wanting to stay in their homes.
