Thanks to Everyone who contributed to this week’s Times. We have a great team of locals.
This week’s Times has 11,628 words spread across 27 pieces. Not including headlines and captions.
We normally have over 30 pieces in each edition, but this week we had some longer pieces.
We had 34 photos of locals doing what they do best. Telling the Twin Town’s and surround’s story.
25 advertisements from local businesses who value our paper and 7 classifieds.
Unlike other publications we put a lot of our work online. We do this through the support of local businesses and we support local businesses anyway we can.
Our print edition is out every Thursday and 12 different outlets across, Harden, Murrumburrah, Jugiong, Coota, Young, Wombat and Boorowa.
If you like what we do, give us a ‘like’ on this post. If you have a story or lead, let us know.
We love writing about where we live, We are Harden Murrumburrah and surrounds local paper.
Born and bred here and here to stay.
We look forward to covering the Dancing with the Locals Can Assist fundraiser tonight.
Congratulations to all of the contestants and Can Assist.
Katch Up With Kirst
Kirsty Graham has been an integral part of the Times for 18 months. Her role is varied and Kirsty is willing to assist the paper with what needs to be done to deliver our product each week. She takes photos, gathers information, writes stories, deals with customers and assists with advertising. She makes sure that the paper has plenty of leads to follow up. She is always on the look out for news. Kirsty has been popping into lots of shop fronts and community organisations over the last few weeks. If you see Kirsty, make sure you get your photo taken so that the Times can include you in our weekly edition both in print and online. If you would like to advertise your business, have a chat to Kirsty, she will point you in the right direction. The Times is happy to have a dedicated member of our staff, out and about in the community. Thanks Kirsty.
