On Saturday whilst not competing in the Mixed Foursomes Championships, the rest of the field including Craig Henman entered a Club Trophy Stableford day. Craig, who teed off a little earlier due to family commitments later that afternoon swung around from the front 9 to the back. Most of the Foursomes groups were assembling to get ready to hit off and a stunned looking Craig wandered through everybody. When asked how he was going, Craig replied “fine I think, but I think I have just had a hole in one …..”. Craig was wandering in to see starters Ron Page and Kevin Hoppe to record the event, still in shock.
Craig will be the recipient of a $1,000 bank account courtesy of our sponsors Bendigo Bank who now have seen only their second gift in 4 years of sponsorship.
