Georgia Murray makes a break against the Hawkettes in the early stages of the game at Boorowa on Saturday.

The Harden Hawkettes have conceded 12 points in their last 2 matches and only 12 points for the season thus far.

The ladies in Maroon and White were kept scoreless for the first 15 minutes against Boorowa before they kicked into gear and ran away from the Roverettes with a 58-2 scoreline. The points for the Roverettes came through a penalty goal to Georgia Murray to get the green and golds on the scoreboard. Murray made the first break of the match when she went through a hole on her own 20 metre line.

The Hawks continue to be the competition favourites and other than a close call against Crookwell where they found themselves 10 points down, they have steam rolled their opposition in clinical displays.

Emma James proves to be the chief organiser and her game has improved year upon year. James registered 3 tries and kicked 9 from 10 in a stellar performance with the ball and her boot.

One conversion was on the sideline which she narrowly missed. It had the ‘legs’ but just went wide of the uprights. Georgia Smith chimed in with 3 tries and her sister Grace added 2 while Jess Doolan and Tara McGrath-West both crossed for a meat pie.

Harden take on the Binalong Jersey Girls at 12:45 at Binalong on Saturday.
