Jetta Kennett has been crowned an Australian Champion after she and her fellow students competed at and won the National Rowing Championships in Orange. Jetta attends Kinross Wolaroi and attended Trinity Catholic School in Murrumburrah before Hennessy Catholic College in Young. Jetta and her crew are now hoping to be selected to represent Australia in England at the Henley Royal Regatta in July. If successful the team will be fundraising for their trip. Team members included Jetta Kennett (cox), Bella Scammell, Bridget Yeomans, Lucy Jenkins and Freya Neville.
