Animal rights activist group ‘Aussie Farms’ has unveiled a controversial new website, that compiles publicly sourced information on farms and abattoirs across the country.
The map, which the organisation says has been 8 years in the making, was previously used by a small number of activists, but has now been opened up for public access……………….
Their new map features a number of properties in and around Harden Murrumburrah, most notably the Pepe’s Ducks facility at Cunningar.
The map hosts 7 images of the duck farm site, that appear to have been taken by a drone, and were uploaded last Sunday, January 20.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s rules regarding the use of drones does not necessarily restrict their use over private property.
Pepe’s Ducks has previously been targeted by people understood to be animal activists, when earthmoving equipment used in the construction phase was set fire to.
