Former Twin Towns resident Todd Burns has been volunteering his time with the Canberra Raiders for the past 4 years and this football season has devoted his time specifically to the members of Club 82, which is the highest membership offered within the club. Todd will often communicate and make sure the members of Club 82 are being looked after. Todd has always been a devoted and adamant supporter of the Canberra Raiders, by attending most home and away games long before he started volunteering within the club. Over this time Todd has met other like-minded Raiders supporters and started organising his own bus to travel to Sydney for the Raiders away games.

Todd said, “I got the idea when an Origin bus had left from Canberra to go to Sydney. It was easy and convenient and at that time there were no options for supporters wanting to go from Canberra to away games.” The bus would carry 30 to 40 supporters each time and would pick up to accommodate other supporters from Goulburn and Pheasant’s Nest. Over many years Todd has met numerous Rugby League legends, most recently Johnathan Thurston and also attended many Rugby League functions such as the Meninga Medal in 2017.
