Trinity Catholic School’s 2018 School Leaders competently carried out their first official duties as Ministers at the Opening School Parliament on Monday. Councillors Rita O’Çonnor and Matthew Stadtmiller were present to officially open Parliament for 2018. The local councillors praised the staff and students on this wonderful initiative and congratulated the Year 6 students on accepting their portfolios and the responsibilities that go with each position. Trinity’s ten ministers delivered comprehensive reports on issues and events happening in and around school and community and are to be commended on their enthusiasm and leadership. The next school Parliament will be held on Monday 26th March at 2.40pm and parents and community members are welcome to attend. The Trinity Catholic School Parliament Ministers for 2018 are Prime Ministers: Zarlie Quinn and Bella Cooper, Religious Minister: Kurtis Schoppema, Library Minister: Brody Schofield, Celebrations Minister: Georgia Squire-Wilson. Sport Ministers: Jonnie Barnes and Ty Leitner Environment Ministers: Hunter Minson and Brody Schofield, Canteen Minister: Hunter Minson, ICT Ministers: Oscar Phillis and Josie Davis-Chard.
