Tom Clarke is the son of former Harden-Murrumburrah resident Darren, and the grandson of local resident Gill Clarke.
Tom has, with his cycling partner Brad Henderson, won two Bronze Medals in the vision-impaired tandem sprint in the current Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. The Duchess of Cornwall presented the young men with one of their awards.
Tom cycles as pilot for Brad who is vision-impaired.
According to Brad, the pair achieved the result they wanted at the Games, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics are within their striking distance.
