The Homestead Style Fashion Boutique, on Neill Street Harden, is celebrating its first birthday, and owners Simone Ward and Garielle Ward are delighted to have reached this milestone. “We would really like to thank all of our customers and the Harden-Murrumburrah and Hilltops community for their support in our first year, and we look forward to supplying stylish ladies fashion to Harden-Murrumburrah locals and visitors for many years to come.”
Whilst The Homestead Style fashion boutique is only still young, it occupies a shop that has been offering fashion to local Harden ladies for well over twenty years. “It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to continue the tradition of offering quality ladies fashion to Harden-Murrumburrah residents. Mrs Loretta Shea of the former dress shop ‘Retta’s’ had an excellent
reputation for supplying top quality garments and we are grateful to be able to be working in this space to continue
providing a similar service.”
The Homestead Style fashion boutique stocks a variety of fashions and classic styles, catering for ladies of all ages, from petite sizes right through to plus sizes, in addition to jewellery, scarves, leather goods and other fashion accessories.   “There really is something here for everybody!” Simone says, “Customer service and satisfaction is very important to us, and we enjoy building relationships with our customers in order to get a good understanding of their fashion needs and desires, which then helps us tailor our
selections to best meet those desires.”
Favourite labels in the store include Yarra Trail, Goondiwindi Cotton, Jump, Gordon Smith, Hammock and Vine, and Tani. This winter The Homestead Style fashion boutique will also be stocking Australian labels Birdie Cashmere, Zaket and Plover, Slade, Uimi and Merino Snug. “I love having Uimi and Merino Snug knitwear in store, as they are actually made here in Australia, and are made from quality Australian merino wool,” enthuses Simone. “Our customers love these natural fibres, and appreciate being able to buy
Australian made garments.”
Simone and Garielle also run ‘Botanica Romantica’, a gift and garden store, also on Neill Street. “Neill Street is such an
attractive main street here in Harden, and we feel lucky to be able to contribute to the streetscape with our businesses. It is
wonderful to have the lovely landscaping, a selection of cafes and specialty shops, and easy parking all in one lovely location – it makes for a wonderful shopping experience for locals and visitors alike.”
