The staff at the Times will be returning to their Neill St office in just 6 days, next Monday January 22. We will be rolling out some changes for the twin town’s favourite paper for 2018, with our first edition out next Thursday January 25, the day before Australia Day.
For all of your Australia Day info, make sure you grab your copy from all of the usual outlets.
These include; Harden Fuel Supplies, Harden IGA, P n D Store Murrumburrah, South West Fuels Murrumburrah, Barnes Store Murrumburrah, Wombat Pub, Jugiong Service Station, Young Town Hall Newsagency, Young Newsagency, Boorowa Newsagency, Cootamundra Newsagency, Galong Village Store, Binalong Store and the Times office at 10 Neill St Harden.
If you require any back copies, our shopfront is the place to come. We keep copies for up to 2 months.
The times is looking to partner with members of the community who can assist in taking photos at various events each week. We have a number of people who help out and are looking to add some more photographers to our paper. If you are interested please contact us via email at editorial@twintowntimes.com.au
The Times will entering its 5th year of operations and will continue to strive to deliver local content to our readers. Local content is what drives local papers and this is our main focus.
However, if we think there is a regional story nearby which our readers would like to read, we will also be constructing and investigating those stories. Don’t worry we won’t be filing your Facebook newsfeed with national stories that you can find on websites like the Daily Telegraph. That is there job, but, we might have a great story about someone you may know nearby or about something going on in a nearby town. Whether is be sport or news we will do our best to get it to you.
The office will continue to be open Monday to Wednesday each week with staff available to discuss story ideas and assist with advertising needs both in the print edition and on our Facebook page and Website.
Our deadline for advertising material and contributed stories is 12:00pm each Tuesday.
