The start of a new year is the perfect time for businesses to take advantage of new opportunities to grow their business says NSW Business Chamber Regional Manager Andrew Cottrill.
“With a number of new grants available for businesses in the Murray Riverina, now is the ideal time for businesses to look towards investing for further growth,” said Mr Cottrill
“The recently announced Murray Darling Regional Business Accelerator program is a great way for businesses to make 2018 a launchpad for growth.
“The program offers matched funding grants up to $10,000 to businesses in the Murray Darling Basin to increase sales, broaden markets and create new jobs.
“This grant will allow business to expand marketing capacity and invest in new technology.
“Marketing activities could include website design and construction, digital marketing strategies and campaigns. Technology upgrades could include upgrades to equipment or purchasing new technology to deliver productivity improvements, cost saving or product quality enhancements.
“This is a rare opportunity for local NSW-based businesses to focus on improving their marketing, sales and business productivity– all you need is a commitment to co-investing up to the maximum $10,000 grant available and a plan to improve and grow your business. Funding needs to be expended by April 30 so time is of the essence,” he said.
“In addition, for small businesses looking to make a new hire, the NSW Small Business Grant provides a $2000 payment for each new full-time position they employ in their business.
“I encourage businesses across the region to take a look at these grants and see how they might best apply them.
