The Harden-Murrumburrah area has been hit by a phone and internet outage which commenced at 1am on Friday morning last week and continues into today.
Eftpos has not been operating in several shop fronts with residents forced to use cash for transactions.
According to Telstra the fixed line adsl should be operating again by this evening. “The issue is a high priority and we are installing new hardware as soon as possible.”
Mobile phone coverage will continue to be patchy or not work at all until later in the week. Telstra were unable to give an estimated time of restoration (ETR) regarding mobiles.
