Harden Murrumburrah Hospital Auxiliary held their AGM recently and elected the following officers to the committee for 2017/18. Former president of many years, Carmel Brown did not stand for re- election. Robyn Apps President, Ann Connolly and Marj Manwaring Vice Presidents, Secretary and Publicity Officer Jackie Birrell, Treasurer Rose Adler and Assist. Treasurer Lyn Webb.
The patrons are Joan Rawlins and Carmel Brown and the auditor is Robert Bates.
The State President and Riverina regional representative Linda Swales was present at the meeting and reported on her last twelve months in the organisation. After the meeting concluded, members walked over to the hospital where they were photographed with the new emergency state of the art beds, one of which has a built in X-Ray machine.
If residents of the twin towns were to take a tour of the local hospital they would see many examples of the auxiliary’s donations which go towards making the local hospital much more comfortable, efficient and aesthetically pleasing. The ladies are to be congratulated on their continued efforts.
