HILLTOPS COUNCIL ELECTION SEPTEMBER 9
Old Boorowa Shire – Wendy Tuckerman, Jack Ryan, Chris Corcoran.
Old Harden Shire – Tony Flanery, Peter Holding, John Horton, Wes Leseberg, Chris Manchester, Rita O’Connor, Matthew Stadtmiller.
Old Young Shire – Greg Armstrong, Brian Ingram. Tricia Mack, Margaret Roles, Bruce Smith, John Walker, Joe Kinsela, Tony Wallace.
After a slow start to nominations, Hilltops Council will (at time of publication) have 18 candidates line up for selection at the 2017 Council election to be held on September 9. The Murrumburrah Harden Show will be in full swing the same day and it is hoped that having to vote at the election will get voters out and about and at the show as well as fulfilling their obligations at the ballot box.

Boorowa 3.
Early estimations of candidate numbers were much higher with residents speaking of anywhere from 35 to 45 candidates. This has not turned out to be the case.
