There aren’t many more low acts than desecrating graves or breaking into a holy building such as a church, but that didn’t stop a thief or thieves last week when they broke into The Ross Memorial Uniting Church in Murrumburrah. The destintatin for many locals who practice their faith on a weekly basis is located on the corner of Binalong and Derby Street.
Several valuable items to the church, were stolen including an over head projector, chalice and items used for christenings.
The Uniting Church in Harden are thankful no damage was done to the building and will continue to conduct their daily and weekly events.
Police are appealing for any eye witnesses. Any information they may have can be reported directly to Police or by telephoning Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
