Hilltops Council is unwilling to enter into negotiations regarding this advert with the Times, which is a paid advert and appears in a rival publication each week.
Such action prevents the rate payers of Hilltops Council from receiving value for money.
Therefore we will forgo payment, in the interests of communication and transparency for our readers, rate payers and residents.
We certainly hope that the direction of Hilltops Council will change when a newly elected Council, elected under a democratic process returns in September, to the people of Young Harden and Boorowa.
At such time it is expected that common sense will prevail and that Hilltops Council will treat all media in the the local area the same and not show favouritism to certain publications.
