Fay Carter and Pat Blundell lunching at the Carrington.
The Times staff were a little taken a back this week when Pat Blundell entered the shopfront at 10 Neill St and said she wanted to make a complaint. Pat said “I started reading the Times last Thursday morning and I only finished it just before dinner. It took half the day.” Pat had a chuckle but couldn’t believe how much local news we can fit in to the 16 pages. Well there is a good reason. We don’t put pages of photographs in that don’t really tell any story. We normally put one photo in for each story unless there is a special occasion such as Harden Touch Football Grand Finals last week. We prefer to give people stories to read rather than take up space and turn the newspaper in to a picture book. Pat has a great sense of humour and we thank her for coming in.
