The Harden Hawks have commenced their 2017 season with 2 trial matches at Robert’s Park in Murrumburrah today.
The U18s started proceedings with their 1pm match against Yass and ran out winners 24-14.
The Harden Hawks First Grade side took on Woden at 230pm and were narrowly defeated 30-18 in conditions that were not only not conducive to flying kites but were down right atrocious when it came to kicking and passing the football.
Matt McLay’s men blew the cobwebs out against the Canberra based side and will be better for it in their next match.
