Harden Soccer’s U9 Grand Final winning side from 2016.

The Harden Soccer Club  is gearing up for another great season of junior soccer this year. Preparations are well underway, and despite the season proper not commencing until May, the committe are already working behind the scenes to implement several changes to the ompetition.  The  South West Slopes Soccer Association competition takes on a slightly different form in 2017, with the Tumut clubs decision to enter the Wagga comp. Whilst this move obviously has big impacts on the competition structure, the South West Slopes committee are confident the new comp. will be not only competitive but also allows for some positive changes for 2017. Also new for 2017 is the introduction of the Mini-roos game structure for ages 5 to 11. This format, introduced to all associations by Football NSW, aims to encourage participation, skills and game involvement rather than competition, particularly in the youngest age groups. Helping to introduce Mini-roos will be the Football NSW roadshow, scheduled to visit our region next month. Registrations for the 2017 are now underway, and can be done online through the myfootballclub web site. The club looks forward to seeing many new and current players take the field this year. Further information can be found on the Harden Soccer Club’s Facebook page, or enquiries can made to club president Greg Brown on 0408 229 450 or registrar Allison Manwaring on 0429 193 453.
