Nellie and Gus Metcalfe with Katie Hopkins. The Retro is raring to go and will be open Thursday for customers.
The Retro is now under new management and will be re-opening on Thursday February 23 in Neill Street Harden.
Nellie and Gus are very excited to be taking on the new venture in the twin towns. Having worked within the hospitality industry for years within their well known ‘Pink caravan’ at Wallendbeen, they are very experienced in serving, cooking and looking after customers. Their business at Wallendbeen will cease trading this Sunday, 26th of February. Wallendbeen’s loss will be Harden’s gain. The Metcalfe family are looking forward to being situated within the shop front café setting and believe that ‘The possibilities are endless.” The Retro has an exciting menu including Hamburgers, Fish and Chips, Salads, Gluten Free and Vegetarian options. Hot potatoes and Doughnuts will also be available plus many more yummy options. The opening hours will definitely satisfy customers. The Retro will be open 7 days a week from 9am till 9pm, with home deliveries available within the town limits (5km) with a minimum purchase of $20.00. Nellie and Gus look forward to meeting and cooking for the residents of Harden – Murrumburrah. Call in for your Coffee, or lunch today!
We wish them the best of luck.
