The Harden Hornets B Grade side has finshed the 2016 part of the Sweeney Cuo in first place,edging out Murrumbateman by a point. The 8 team competiton wll now be split in 2 with Harden set to play Murrumbateman, Yass Golf Club Taipans and Boorowa Crocs in 2017. The bottom 4 sides will be relegated to C grade and include the Boorowa Gators, Binalong, Yass Golf Club Colts and Aussie Hotel Pirates. The B Grade side has been bouyed this year with the return of former A grade players as Harden is not fielding a side in this year’s Triggs Shield. Half of last year’s A Grade squad play for either Bookham or Bowning. The club will determine whether 2 sides are entered in the 2017/2018 at the AGM held after the season.
