Advancing Harden Murrumburrah has opened up nominations for the annual Australia Day Awards and Breakfast in the park for 2017. Residents of Harden Murrumburrah and surrounds can nominate in categories including: Junior, Senior, Community Involvement in Sport, Citzen of the Year and the Towncare award which is for Voluntary Work to Improve Public Areas in the Shire. Nominations are to be in writing with a short resume about the person being nominated . Please send them to Lorraine Brown at the West End Gift Shop or to Chris Manchester. The closing date for nominations is December 23 2016. An ambassador has been requested from the Australia day Council to be present on the day.
