Well known local Bull rider Reece Peterson did his best to hold on to this big fella at the 2015 Harden Fuel Supplies Twin Town Rodeo. The rodeo, now in its 2nd year after a 10 year hiatus, will be bigger and better than last year. The committee is looking to build on the 1500 strong crowd at last year’s event.

The Harden Fuel Supplies twin Town Rodeo will be on again in 2016 with November 19 set down as the big day. Club Secretary Kristy Brown said “There will be all the usual events with 19 on the day including, Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Barrell Racing, Steer Wrestling, and Bull Riding.” The local steer ride was very entertaining last year with a large field of brave locals willing to test themselves against a steer. The arena has had some work done to it with the addition of rubber and some new sand as well as some welding done. Big Al the clown will be a great attraction with his mini monster truck. The racecourse will offer free camping overnight and their will be a bar and bbq on all day as well as numerous food stalls. The official after party will be held at the Light Horse Hotel. Cost of admission is $15 adult, $5 child, family tickets will be $35 and a special concession price is being arranged for pensioners.

Check out the Twin Town Rodeo Facebook page and try your hand at singing the national anthem. The winner will get to sing on the day.
