Daylight saving 2016 – Move your clocks forward on Sunday October 2 or you will be late.

SOME people love it, others hate it. But it’s that time of the year again — daylight saving.

Residents in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and ACT will put their clocks one hour forward from 2am AEST Sunday morning.

Queensland, Western Australia and Northern Territory won’t need to worry as there is no change to their time zones.

Daylight savings will remain in place until April 2017.

Those with smartphones will see their time adjust automatically.

But if you live near the Queensland/NSW border, your phone may get confused depending on the mobile tower it is using.
