Long term racing fan Marj Whybrow said “It looks like Randwick”
Well Known jockey Ricky Blewitt said “It’s perfect, I’ve never seen it look so good”
Spectators and race goers will be saying similar things when they descend on the Harden Race Course this Saturday October 22.
The hard working committee is gearing up for what may be one of the biggest race meetings Harden has held. Numerous meetings have been called off in the region due to heavy rain and tracks under water over the last few months. Cootamundra has been moved to December and Young held sheep races.
It is expected that Harden will draw a large crowd with regional race goers wanting to get out in the sun and socialise with friends and family.
Racing NSW is now offering compensation for trainers who have lost income due to the postponement and cancellation of race meetings.
Harden had some rain fall Sunday night and in to the early hours of Monday morning. Stewards will visit the track on Wednesday and assess its condition.
Club President Nathan Schofield can’t wait for Saturday and is confident Harden will be a cracker event.
Be there or be square!!!
