Twin Town Times staff member Trish Stadtmiller with HBH’s star tipster Brendan McKay.
Harden Bearings and Hardware have finished on top of the Twin Town Times NRL tipping competition after a consistent performance throughout the year. The locally owned hardware store have been a part of the competition for the last 3 years. Each year the Twin Town Times offers local businesses the chance to take part in the NRL tipping competition. It allows businesses the chance to take advanatge of some very cost effective advertising and appear in the paper for 26 weeks of the year.
We also give a great prize at the end of the competition to the local business which has managed to pick the most winners compared to all of the other businesses. It’s great fun and very interesting to hear when a business ‘ribs’ another business about their lack of tipping form. The prize for the winning business this year is 2 Gold seating tickets to the NRL Grand Final worth $490. The Cronulla Sharks have had one of their best seasons since they entered the competition in 1963 and the McKay family at HBH are big Sharks supporters hoping to see their side make the big one, live.
