Jessie Abnett – Age – 18 years. Schooling – have attended school in Harden my whole life. Studying through my primary years at Murrumburrah Public and then at Murrumburrah High School for my formative years. Hometown – Harden, have lived here my entire life. Why you’re doing showgirl – I believe that I am a valid candidate as I have lived in Harden Murrumburrah for my entire life, I am currently school captain at Murrumburrah High School therefore I have been an active member of both my schooling community and the Harden community. Being school captain has allowed me the opportunity to socialize and participate in community events such as Anzac day. I am well known throughout the community and have a good understanding of both rural and in town problems and current issues as I have lived both in town and on a property. I do a lot for our surrounding communities and am proud of my indigenous heritage and would therefore love, the title of what I believe to be Hardens 1st Aboriginal representative showgirl! Goals – when I leave school I am planning to become a registered nurse, with the hopes of working around the globe, volunteering in humanitarian aid programs at the conclusion of my study.
Taylah Phillis Age – 18 Schooling – Murrumburrah High School, currently working at Harden Pharmacy Why you’re doing showgirl – I entered show girl for the experience of meeting new people and learning new things, Goals – for the future are to get myself into the agriculture work force as I have a love for farming and agriculture.
Emily Banks Age – 2nd of April 1999 Schooling – Attending Yass Public until 2008 then moved to Harden and attended Murrumburrah Public for the rest of my primary years and then going on to Murrumburrah High School from Year 7-12 Hometown – Born in Yass and lived there until I was 11 then moving into Harden during the time that I was in Year 4 at school and lived in harden ever since. Contributing and participating in a varieties of sporting and schooling roles, also fundraiser and other things out of school. This Included: Winner of Deb of the Year, playing football, netball, volleyball, basketball for school, local touch, volunteering at the Southern Cross Care and Kite Festivals, etc. Why I’m doing showgirl – I was asked by Zoe Woods to participate and I thought it would be a good experience and good to try something new. Goals: Completion of Year 12, going on into a career in Real Estate around the local areas (Yass, Harden, Boorowa, Young, Cootamundra, etc.), travelling, sports (currently playing for Binalong Brahmans and previously played for the junior league tag team for Harden).
